During my year 2 in Lasalle, we were given a project brief that requires us to preserve one of the dying trade among our cultures in Singapore. The Joss paper culture under Taoism is definitely worth preserving to the younger generation and even outsiders. It is one of the important Chinese cultures that are still widely practice by the elderly. Sadly, not the younger generation yet. This typography poster was one of the outcome which uses the actual joss paper to add a sense of touch and sight to define the meaning of that particular joss paper used — Longevity.
